  This one day course will demonstrate how the outdoors provides opportunities for making children see that mathematics is real and relevant.

  Activities relate to the KS2 programme of study, including:

  • Co-ordinates and Grids

  This one day course will introduce delegates to creating & managing fires, plus basic camp cooking.

  The content includes:

  • Planning for fires and locating fires
  • Reducing and managing risks
  • Building different types of campfires
  • Lighting campfires
  • Maintaining campfires
  • Planning and preparation of food outdoors
